The country and community pauses today to honor and remember those who have served and are serving the nation in the Armed Services.
Locally the Veterans Day holiday is marked with many events including school assemblies. Tonight the Crawford County Veterans Hall of Fame will conduct a public ceremony to conduct its Class of 2016 which includes William Chapman, Thomas Clayton, Kenneth Javens, Shawn Leonhardt, David Oswalt, George Stratton, Douglas Wilson, Rollie Wilson and Rodney Wise.
The ceremony begins at 7 p.m. at Bucyrus High School. The ceremony will include Crawford County high school bands, bag pipes, taps and firing squad.
