As the 2015 Crawford County Junior Fair royalty are preparing to say goodbye, a new class of contenders is getting ready compete at the annual contest to kick off the fair.
Nineteen total applications have been received for the King, Queen, Prince, and Princess. The Crawford County Junior Fair Board approved to bump two 15-year-old prince applicants up to the king contest as there were no entries for king. Allison Cooper, 4-H youth development educator, said the final court will feature nine contestants: two kings, three queens, two princes, and two princesses.
Below is a list of contestants running for each title.

Crawford County Junior Fair Queen
- Bonnie Walsh (The Ohio State University – Marion, Town and Country 4-H Club)

- Taylor Lutz (The Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute, Dairy Maids and Gents 4-H Club)

The 2016 Junior Fair Royalty contest is slated for 7:30 p.m. on July 17 at the Youth Building.
The 2015 court included Queen CeCelia Von Stein, queen 1st attendant Tori Kirian, queen 2nd attendant Taylor Lutz, queen 3rd attendant Sarah Cornell, princess Annika Gerlach, attendant Emily Rudd, prince Zachary Hiler, and attendant John Bell.
