Crawford Park District Naturalist Warren Uxley will offer a guided tour of one of Ohio’s newest State Nature Preserve this Sunday at 2 p.m.

The Daughmer Prairie Savannah is a remnant of one of North America’s most endangered ecosystems: the Bur-Oak Savannah.  Two-hundred-year-old trees surrounded by prairie grassland that has never been plowed make Daughmer something special.

Participants should meet at the parking lot at 786 Marion-Melmore Rd. just north of SR 294.
