The unfortunate reality of not finding a replacement program coordinator means the Crestline Backpack program is likely to end this month.
Current program coordinator Zita Miller has plans to retire and had hopes that someone would step up to take over the program. So far, that has not happened.
The Backpack program, established by Miller four years ago, provides food for Crestline children.
Anyone wishing to volunteer for the position should contact Miller at 419-683-3005.
