The Central Joint Ambulance District Board of Directors formed a committee for contract purposes during their meeting Wednesday night.
The committee, which is comprised of board members Milton Underwood, Dale Garverick, Ron Miller, Jason Long and Jamie Sherk, will discuss the upcoming ambulance service contract. The move to form the committee took place after the CJAD reconvened from their second executive session of the meeting.
In Jesse Sipes’ report from Life Support, the ambulance service responded to 197 phone calls during the month of February with 34 refusals, 11 fire assists, six assists, seven false alarms, and five cancellations.
Sipes also noted that the CJAD would be receiving map test results from new employees at the next meeting.
After the first executive session was completed the CJAD approved four out of the six run time variances of Life Support.
The next CJAD Board of Directors meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. on April 20 at the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.
