BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—A 73-year-old Bucyrus man was killed Friday evening when his vehicle crashed into a home on Hopley Avenue.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Bucyrus Post is investigating the incident, which occurred at approximately 6:05 p.m. near the intersection of Clay Street. Authorities report that a gray 2023 Chevrolet Blazer was traveling northwest when it drifted left of center, exited the roadway, and struck the front of a house.
The driver, identified as Ronald Inscho of Bucyrus, was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators noted that Mr. Inscho was wearing a seat belt and the vehicle’s airbags had deployed. No injuries were reported by the residents of the home.
Alcohol and drugs are not believed to be factors in the crash, and next of kin have been notified. The incident remains under investigation.
The Bucyrus Police Department, Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, Crawford County Coroner’s Office, and the Bucyrus Fire Department assisted at the scene. Lohr’s Towing removed the vehicle.
