BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Crawford Partnership is pleased to announce the addition of Crystal Dean as the organization’s new Workforce Development Manager.
Dean brings more than 10 years of experience from North Central State College, where she has been instrumental in assisting in the creation of programs that support the local workforce. In her role as Workforce Development Training Coordinator and Testing Administrator, she regularly partnered with community employers and human resource professionals to better understand workforce shortages and skills gaps before designing workforce training programs that addressed those needs.
Dean is skilled in developing leadership and communication training programs and has extensive experience working with schools and community partners to connect students to real career pathways and industry-recognized credentials. A key part of her work has been listening to employers, building relationships, and turning those conversations into actionable initiatives that benefit both businesses and job candidates.
In addition to her work in workforce development, Dean remained closely connected to the community through her involvement with North Central Ohio Media Group. That experience helped her stay informed on local businesses, workforce initiatives, and community events while maintaining a broader understanding of the opportunities and challenges currently facing Crawford County employers and residents.
“We are excited to welcome Crystal to the Crawford Partnership team,” said Makenna Laser, Executive Director of the Crawford Partnership. “Her experience, community connections, and passion for workforce development make her an excellent fit for this role and for the future of Crawford County.”
As Workforce Development Manager, Dean will lead initiatives focused on strengthening partnerships between local employers, educational institutions, and workforce organizations while supporting talent development and retention efforts across the county.
