NORWALK, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—A Bucyrus man was killed Sunday evening in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Seneca County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at approximately 7:21 p.m. on State Route 100 near State Route 67.
Investigators say David M. Clayton, 43, was traveling southbound on a 2014 Harley Davidson Street Glide when he failed to negotiate a curve. The motorcycle traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a ditch, and overturned.
Clayton was pronounced deceased at the scene. Troopers confirmed he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Norwalk Post is leading the ongoing investigation. Assisting at the scene were the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, Bloom Township Fire and EMS, Keller Brothers Towing, and the Seneca County Coroner’s Office.
