CRAWFORD COUNTY, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Dangerous wind chills and a chance of light snow are expected to headline a frigid weekend across the region.

According to the National Weather Service, Saturday will be sunny but bitterly cold with a high near 12 degrees; however, northwest gusts up to 23 mph will drive wind chill values as low as -16. The extreme cold continues Saturday night with a low of 2 and a 20% chance of snow after 1 a.m. On Sunday, the chance of snow increases to 30% before 1 p.m., with less than a half-inch of accumulation possible and a high of 21.
