CRESTLINE, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Crestline Public Library is inviting residents to escape the winter chill through its 2026 Adult and Teen Winter Reading Program, “Let Reading Take You Away,” which officially kicks off Jan. 6.

The program, which runs through March 10, offers participants the chance to win weekly prizes and a final grand prize. To enter, readers must register at the library and submit a reading form for every book, ebook, or book on CD they complete.

In addition to the reading challenge, the library is emphasizing community health with a series of wellness opportunities throughout January and February. Highlights include the return of the Loud Sound Bath relaxation experience on Jan. 13 at 4:30 p.m. The free event is limited to 20 participants, and interested residents are encouraged to register by calling 419-683-3909 or visiting the library in person.

Youth programming also resumes this month, with Story Time returning Tuesday, Jan. 5, at 10:30 a.m.
