Bucyrus boy keglers third, girls fifth in Redmen Classic Tournament

BUCYRUS — Twenty teams bowled in the Bucyrus Redmen Classic Tournament at Suburban Lanes on Saturday.

Bucyrus boys finished third with a pin count of 3855 and the girls were fifth with a 2945. The format included three regular games and six Baker games.

Bryce Phillips was the top bowler for the Redmen with a 624 series, good for eighth overall. Ben Jones was next with a 618, and Brody Higginbotham rolled a 557.

Liberty-Benton took the top spot with a 4022 total. Galion boys were second with a 3959. Kamden Spigener led the Tigers with a 623 series, ninth overall. London Fairchild and Calix Wolfe were next for Galion with 575 and 574, respectively.

Wynford was sixth with a 3802, led by Levi McLaughlin’s 632, which was sixth individually. Weston Eulett had a 622 and Paul Motil finished at 593.

Pleasant finished fifth as a team with a 3838 total but had the top two individuals. Tucker Ludwig had a whopping 707 series with the highest single game of 267. Bryan Brandt was second with a 680 for the Spartans.

On the girls’ side, Lady Faye McCoy and Aubre McDaniel each rolled 470 to top Bucyrus.

Crestline finished seventh as a team with 2849 but had the highest individual in Laura Quail with 577, which included the high single game of 237. Natalie Guiler finished with a 495 for the Bulldogs.

Colonel Crawford came in 10^th (2653), but the Eagles’ Haylie Kovack was second individually with a 564 series. Wynford was ninth with a 2768. Addison Sebring was the top Royal with a 465.

Seneca East won the team title with a 3134 total. Payton Walters led the Tigers with a 482 and Gracie Webster added a 476.
