BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—This week, the Bucyrus VFW Post 1078 has made a significant impact in the community by donating generously to various local organizations aimed at supporting veterans and enhancing community services.

The Post has allocated a total of $25,500 in funding to five area organizations, with most recipients receiving a $5,000 contribution to bolster their respective missions.

The beneficiaries of this year’s charitable giving include:

Ohio Veterans Home Volunteer Advisory: Supporting specialized programs and quality-of-life activities for veterans residing in state-run homes.

Sleep in Heavenly Peace: A nonprofit dedicated to building and delivering beds for children in need, ensuring no child in the community has to sleep on the floor.
