Colonel Crawford’s penchant of winning close ball games continued into the New Year as the Eagles slipped by at Northmor, 44-42. Colonel Crawford is now 9-1 overall as is heads into a big weekend at Upper Sandusky and Carey. Northmor is 2-6.
The Eagles were outscored at the free throw line, but hit 50-percent from the three-point line to pick up the win. Colonel Crawford was better outside the arc, than inside it.
Owen Adams led the Eagles in scoring with 14 points. Brody Martin and Derek Burkhart each had three triples and scored nine apiece.
Northmor got 10 points each from Lilly and Johnson.
