The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office investigated a one vehicle crash that occurred on North Sandusky Avenue, north of US 30, Wednesday morning.
Preliminary investigation indicates that 62-year-old Larry W. Stander had been traveling southbound in a 1997 Ford Excursion when the vehicle went off the west side of the roadway just after 9:30 a.m. The vehicle then went over the entrance ramp to US 30 and through the grass until it came to rest after striking the northern grass embankment to US 30.
Stander was transported to Bucyrus Community Hospital. LifeSupport, Ohio State Highway Patrol, and Bucyrus Fire Department were also on scene.
