The New Year brings with it a new set of fees and licenses including those for the family dog who needs a fresh set of tags for 2016. Anyone who owns a dog or has a kennel is required to purchase a license by Feb. 1, 2016.
One-year tags are $16.75 per dog. Dog licenses are available in Crestline at the office of The Advocate and at the County Auditor’s office at the County Courthouse. They may also be purchased online. Payment for the new licenses is by cash, check or money order.
Auditor Joan Wolfe encourages people to beat the rush and penalties and late fees and purchase tags prior to the Feb. 1 deadline.
For additional information dog owners should contact the County Auditor’s Office at 419-562-7941.
