The Colonel Crawford American Legion Post in Bucyrus is supporting the Bikes for Tikes and Children’s Miracle Network with a spaghetti dinner fundraiser.
The fundraiser will be from 5 to 8 in the evening on Jan. 8 at the post located at 123 East Rensselaer Street in Bucyrus to support Bri Rankins of Bucyrus who is a student at Bowling Green State University. Rankins is hoping to ride in the Bikes for Tikes event April 1 through 3 which is a 180-mile ride from Cincinnati to Bowling Green.
Funds raised there will go to Mercy Children’s Hospital in Toledo for a Child Life-Play Room, an Autism Center, family services and counseling, and a hippotherapy barn.
