Bucyrus police hit the trifecta Wednesday evening when officers investigated a simple call of someone rummaging through cars.

Though nothing was reported missing, police arrested three men during the course of the investigation stemming a call in the 1600 block of Marion Road. Officers investigating this incident were led to Wallace Avenue to attempt to locate a suspect and arrested 23-year-old Gage Ruth who was wanted on a Crawford County warrant.

But police were far from done. Another subject tried to flee and was found hiding on a roof. Twenty-one-year-old Jonathan Alsept was arrested on a Shelby Police Department warrant and charged locally with resisting arrest.

As for arrest number three, 62-year-old Arthur Alsept was arrested on charges of falsification out the incident.

Ruth was issued a court date and released. Jonathon Alsept was issued a summons for resisting arrest, then transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to wait for transport to Shelby. Aurthur Alsept was issued a summons t appear in court and released.
