CHINO, CA (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Diamond Wipes International, a leading manufacturer of disposable wipes and personal care products, today announced plans to consolidate its manufacturing operations as part of a strategic effort to strengthen production efficiency and support long-term growth.
As part of this plan, production at the company’s Bucyrus, Ohio facility will be phased out later this year, with operations and equipment being transitioned to Diamond Wipes’ existing, expanding plants in Chino, California and Fredonia, Wisconsin.
“While this decision was difficult, it reflects our commitment to ensuring a sustainable future for Diamond Wipes and our employees,” said Steve Gallo, CEO. “We are deeply grateful for the dedication and contributions of our Bucyrus team members. Their efforts have been instrumental to our success, and we are doing everything possible to support them through this transition.”
The company emphasized that this move is part of a broader investment in operational growth and innovation. Over the past year, Diamond Wipes has expanded production capacity and added new jobs at both its Chino and Fredonia facilities to meet increasing demand across key product categories.
“These expansions reflect the continued confidence our customers place in Diamond Wipes,” Gallo added. “By strengthening our footprint at our two primary sites, we are positioning the company to better serve our partners, streamline supply chains, and continue delivering the quality and service we’re known for.”
Diamond Wipes remains committed to its U.S.-based manufacturing model, its workforce, and its mission to provide innovative, sustainable, and high-quality products to consumers worldwide.
