The division emphasized that public safety remains a top priority for the city.

“Our community is moving in a positive direction, and we always appreciate when we receive tips and other information from the public,” the statement continued. “We want to reassure everyone that public safety remains a top priority for Mayor Perry and myself.”

Police are urging anyone with information about the shooting to contact the Mansfield Division of Police.
