Bucyrus City Council committees will be holding their regular meetings this evening at City Hall including a special meeting for the Finance Committee.
At 5 p.m., the Finance Committee will meet to discuss the 2016 Budget. The special meeting has been called by Bill O’Rourke, Monica Sack, and Steve Pifer. The meeting will be in Council Chambers of City Hall, 500 S Sandusky Ave, Bucyrus.
The joint regular Committee meeting for Thursday, Nov. 19 will be held at 6 p.m. also in Council Chambers. Topics of discussion will include the following but are not limited to:
• Health & Safety Committee: liquor permits – annual review
• Platting Committee: appointment to the Board of Zoning & Appeals
• Public Lands & Buildings Committee: amend the lease to a parcel of land
• Finance Committee: various appropriations, various transfers, various appropriation reductions, and amend the lease to a parcel of land
• Ad-Hoc Committee: income tax
