BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The “South of the Square Block Rally” held on June 27 at Schines Art Park raised $3,000 to benefit the Bucyrus Kiwanis’ efforts to build a pavilion at the splash pad in Aumiller Park.
Thirty-seven businesses sponsored the event, which aimed to support the local community while honoring the legacy of Dane Kennedy. Kennedy was instrumental in fundraising through the Bucyrus Kiwanis for the splash pad’s construction and envisioned a pavilion where parents could watch their children play.
Kate Volk accepted the $3,000 donation on behalf of the Bucyrus Kiwanis.
