BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Crawford County Chamber of Commerce (CCCC) is getting ready for its First and Third Friday series – events that highlight downtown Bucyrus and Uptowne Galion.

For June, First Friday in Bucyrus is June 6 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with performances by Bound by Love and Randy Myers set to take place at Schines Art Park and the fountain at Millennium Park.  The Bucyrus Pedal Company will also showcase its new Bucyrus Trolley in support of Rotary International with a fundraiser for Mesa.

Third Friday in Galion is June 20, also from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.  AFM Local 159 Concert Band and Galion Community Theatre will perform at the gazebo.

Both events aim to highlight the business districts of the communities with local organizations, food trucks, and entertainment.

“First and Third Fridays are just a few of the summer events that help showcase communities in our county.  We are so happy that we’re officially in the season of being outside with our vendors, shops, and local entertainment”, said Heather Martin, the Chamber’s Event & Marketing Assistant.

The events are free for the community.  Vendors should contact the chamber to participate as there is a form to complete and a fee.  Those under the age of 18 can participate as a Kids Market Vendor for a discounted amount.
