The gas aggregation program the City of Bucyrus entered into last year is already paying off.
Service/Safety Director Jeff Wagner announced at Tuesday night’s Bucyrus City Council meeting that he added a third year to the gas aggregation program after locking a 20 percent decrease in cost. The new price will take effect in December.

Two pieces of legislation were passed during the short meeting. Ordinance 26-2015 approved the current replacement pages to the Bucyrus Codified Ordinance and Resolution 226-2015 accepted the plat of Friendship Lane, which stretches from Southern Avenue to the Friendship Bridge.
All city offices will be closed on Nov. 26 and 27 for the Thanksgiving holiday. Garbage for Thursday, Nov. 26 will be picked up the day before and trash typically gathered on Friday will instead will be picked up on Monday, Nov. 30.
