The Crawford County Education and Economic Development Partnership recently received a grant that will not only provide financial support but place the county “on national radar.”
The Partnership was awarded a $10,000 grant as a result of completing the Community Economic Development Academy which was created by American Electric Power.
The Partnership’s Michelle Failor said, “The CEDA experience taught us more about what to do and say to potential clients, but more importantly, what not to do or say. In addition, Crawford County is now on a national ‘radar,’ which, to us, is invaluable.”
The Community Development Academy provided an opportunity for Crawford County Economic Development professionals and key community leaders to work closely with national site consultants and understand how to identify competitive gaps and opportunities.
