Showing that they are ready for just about anything that comes their way, Bucyrus police helped remove unwanted drugs and a lost goat from city streets on Friday.
 At approximately 8:20 Friday morning the Crawford County Special Response Team executed a search warrant 1339 High Street in Bucyrus. The SRT is made up of officers from the Bucyrus and Galion police departments, Sheriff’s Office, Bucyrus Fire Department and METRICH.

Four adults were taken into custody and formal charges are expected to be filed. An investigation is ongoing regarding drug trafficking and drug possession at that locations.
Earlier Friday morning, Bucyrus police investigated a report of a goat wandering in the 500 block of South East Street. Police corralled the goat and returned it to Producers Stockyards where it had gotten out of a pen. It was held there until could be returned to its owner.
