Crawford County kids, families, volunteers: mark your calendars for Saturday, Oct. 24.
On this national day of volunteerism, Crawford: 20/20 Vision, North Central State College’s Crawford Success Center and the Gannett Company also want to celebrate education and creativity. Local clubs and organizations, such as the Crawford County Arts Council and the Bucyrus Library will host interactive displays and hands-on learning activities for kids of all ages focused on Science, Technology, Education, Art and Math (STEAM).
Come play, explore, learn and check out the county’s new education center. Better yet: volunteer for this communitywide event. Activities, which will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at the Crawford Success Center, will feature a LEGO Room, robots, dry ice experiments, magic sand, potato clocks, slime, masks, and more. Snacks, contests, giveaways, and prizes will also be a part of this fun-filled event
