BUCYRUS — Ontario defeated Bucyrus, 4-1, in a boys’ tennis match on Monday.

Aubrie Kimmel picked up the lone victory for the Redmen in third singles, beating the Warriors’ Zeke Ritenour, 6-2-6-4.

Bella Stang and Reese Garvin forced a third set in second doubles before falling to Kyle Morris and Conner Perry 7-6, 4-6, 5-10. Ontario’s Parker Henderson and Justin Switaj dropped Will Kuhn and Rielly Bolster, 6-3, 6-1 in first doubles.

Seth Price was blanked by Mathew Boyes, 0-6, 0-6, in first singles and Mason Eldridge lost to Henry Vukovich, 2-6, 1-6.

Bucyrus now has a record of 1-4. The next match for the Redmen netters is Wednesday at Galion.
