BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Absentee ballots for the upcoming Primary/Special Election on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, have arrived at the Crawford County Board of Elections.
Eligible voters can cast their ballots in person at the Board of Elections office during the following hours:
- 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 8, 2025 through Friday, April 11, 2025
- 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday, April 14, 2025 through Friday, April 18, 2025
- 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday, April 21, 2025 through Friday, April 25, 2025
- 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Monday, April 28, 2025
- 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 29, 2025
- 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 30, 2025 through Friday, May 2, 2025
- 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, May 3, 2025
- 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, May 4, 2025
The election includes a Republican Primary for Bucyrus City only, with other select areas in Crawford County holding a Special Election. Voters in Bucyrus City will need to declare their political party or vote on issues only.
Absentee ballot applications can be requested by mail, by calling the Board of Elections at 419-562-8721, or by downloading and printing the form from the board’s website at crawfordcountyohioboe.gov.
The deadline for requesting an absentee ballot by mail is Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 8:30 p.m. Mailed absentee ballots must be postmarked by the day before Election Day and received by the fourth day after Election Day.
The deadline for in-person absentee voting is Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. The Board of Elections office will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on that day for absentee voting.
Completed absentee ballots returned in person must be delivered to the Board of Elections office by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.
