BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—On March 24, 2025, at approximately 7:00 PM, Bucyrus police officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Iron Street and East Warren Street. The passenger in the vehicle, identified as Carl Lohr, was observed leaving a suspected drug trafficking location and was believed to have recently acquired narcotics from the residence.
During the investigation, officers discovered that Lohr had exchanged some of his prescription Oxycodone for six Alprazolam pills at the suspected drug location. Further inquiries revealed that Lohr was en route to sell his remaining prescription Oxycodone. He was promptly arrested and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center for further investigation.
Following his arrest, detectives secured a search warrant for 623 East Rensselaer Street Suite 1, stemming from a four-month investigation into the sale of cocaine, Alprazolam, and Oxycodone. The primary targets of this investigation were identified as Carl Vanbuskirk and Jessica Sutter.
Upon executing the search warrant, officers uncovered narcotics sale ledgers, cellphones, several dozen Oxycodone and Alprazolam pills, suspected cocaine, and drug paraphernalia. Both Vanbuskirk and Sutter were arrested and transported to the Crawford County Justice Center, where they will face charges related to drug trafficking and possession.
