CRAWFORD COUNTY, (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—On Monday, a routine traffic stop on US 30 led to the arrest of a woman for drug possession after deputies with the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office discovered an active warrant during the stop.

Deputies pulled over a green Hyundai at the intersection of US 30 and CR 330, where they ran the vehicle’s license plate. Their inquiry revealed that the registered owner had an outstanding warrant from Richland County for drug possession.

The suspected drugs, weighing approximately 11 grams, were collected as evidence and tested positive for fentanyl.

Wilson is currently being held at the Crawford County Justice Center on charges of drug possession. The case is under review, and reports will be forwarded to the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office for potential additional charges.
