CRAWFORD COUNTY, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office has announced the abandonment of two outdated phone lines, effective April 16, 2025. The discontinued lines are (419) 562-1234 and (419) 562-0806, which are no longer necessary, having predated the implementation of 911 services and the widespread use of cell phones.
Residents are reminded that all emergencies should be reported by dialing 911. Utilizing 911 for emergency calls enables dispatchers to access critical mapping information and addresses, ensuring a swift and accurate response from the appropriate agencies.
