GALION, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—A local company that specializes in drywall installation also offers customers an array of services “from start to stunning finish.”
New Creations Drywall, 223 E. Atwood Street, is a full-service wall and ceiling contractor that performs drywall and restoration work for both residential and commercial customers in North Central Ohio.
“I’ve always been a subcontractor. I did a lot of drywall hanging and that’s how it all started,” said owner Jared Slagle, who moved the business from Bucyrus to the Atwood Street office about two months ago.
Slagle, 48, said New Creations Drywall takes pride in quality workmanship, not only on putting drywall on walls and ceilings. The firm, he said, also contracts out for roofing jobs, siding, and other home improvement projects.
“Just about anything a house needs, we can take care of it,” Slagle said. “We pretty much do it all. We have architects and engineers and then subcontract work for flooring, plumbing, and electric.”
The company, he said, just completed a job on an 1880’s home, updating the old brick with new studs and drywall panels throughout. They also transformed the E-Crane International building in Galion with a new roof, windows, and offices.
Slagle said New Creations offers a selection of siding options, including vinyl, veneer, and fiber cement. But investing in new windows and doors, he said, is also a great way to enhance the beauty and value of a home or business.
The company, which he founded five years ago, also does metal framing, insulation, painting, and bathroom and kitchen remodeling, Slagle said. Decking projects continue to be a big part of their operation, he said.
The Bucyrus native said he loves the work, the craftsmanship, and most of all seeing the end result. “I just love to transform properties that are run down, when we go in and make it brand-new again.”
