A traffic stop in a city park may have deterred traffic of another kind that has nothing to do with motorized vehicles.
Galion police, detectives from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and the METRICH Enforcement Unit made a traffic stop on a vehicle in Galion’s Heise Park Wednesday evening and arrested 33-year-old Myles Duncan. Records show Duncan to be homeless.
Authorities found that Duncan was in possession of heroin, marijuana, drug paraphernalia including syringes and cash.
Duncan was transported from the scene to the Crawford County Justice Center and is being held there on a charge of drug trafficking. The Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office is reviewing the case and other charges against Duncan could be pending.
