GALION, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW) — On January 28, 2025, at approximately 7:21 p.m., Galion police responded to a call from a resident on Grant Street regarding what she believed to be an alarming situation involving numerous drones outside her home.

According to the report, the woman expressed her frustration, stating that there were about 30 drones hovering around her residence every night. She claimed to have contacted both the Attorney General’s Office and the FBI regarding her concerns, alleging that her complaints were dismissed without serious consideration.

The situation escalated when she indicated that if the drones did not leave, she would resort to shooting at them. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the woman to assess the situation. After a brief investigation, the officers concluded that what she thought were drones were, in fact, stars in the night sky.

Despite the officers’ explanation, the woman became increasingly frustrated with their response and ultimately shut the door on them.
