For the 40th time, Uptowne Galion streets will close tomorrow for the community’s annual celebration of music and food at the Galion Oktoberfest.
The festival begins in full swing at 6:30 Thursday evening with the John Kennedy Orchestra on the Main Stage and the Semer Brothers on Stage 2.
Country music takes over the Main Stage at 7 o’clock Friday evening with Lorrie Brown and Rough Country followed by Jessica Hannan. Friday’s Stage 2 entertainment includes Cold River Rising, Calling Cain and Perfectly Damaged.
Saturday afternoon on the Main Stage it will be Standard Time, the John Vermullen Octet, the Eric Gimbel Orchestra and the Las Vegas sound of Ann Flamingo and Elvis Aaron Presley Jr. Stage 2 entertainment on Saturday will be Picasso’s Dream, Electric Circus and Trust.
There will also be a Christian Music Stage at the gazebo throughout the festival.
