BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Bucyrus High School Interact Club, a junior chapter of Rotary International, is participating in the Field of Flags event organized by the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) this October. The club is actively collecting donations to support DAV’s initiatives, which honor veterans in the community.
In exchange for donations, DAV will provide a set of flags that Bucyrus High School will display in time for this year’s Veterans Day celebrations. The Interact Club is excited about this opportunity to pay tribute to local veterans and expresses gratitude for the community’s support.
Donations can be made in cash or by check, which should be addressed to Bucyrus High School at 900 W Perry St., Attn: Ann Shanda, Interact Advisor. Contributors can make checks payable to the Bucyrus Interact Club with “Field of Flags” noted in the memo line.
For every $250 raised, the club will receive a kit containing 24 flags measuring 12 inches by 18 inches each. While the goal is to raise enough funds for at least one kit, the Interact Club hopes to expand the display even further.
“We look forward to honoring the veterans in our community through this project and thank everyone in advance for their generous support,” said a club representative.
The Interact Club encourages community members to participate in this worthy cause as they prepare for this meaningful observance of Veterans Day.
