Larry Thomas Fallen, age 55 of Galion, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024. He was born on June 16, 1969, to the late Willard and Bonnie (Cooper) Fallen in Dayton, and he married the love of his life, Sarah (Stone), on September 12, 2005. They were truly soulmates.
For over 20 years, Larry dedicated himself to his trade as a Stone Mason, and most recently, he spent two years working as a machine operator at Covert Manufacturing, where he was universally loved. Larry left a lasting impact on all who knew him, known for controlling a room with his magnetic presence and forming deep connections with friends, both old and new.
Larry was a free spirit who found joy in music and art. He honed his musical talent as a drummer and expressed his creativity through his artwork, and he spent several years following the Grateful Dead across the country, as Jerry Garcia was such an inspiration.
In his spare time, Larry was an avid supporter of the Buckeyes, always cheering on his team with unwavering enthusiasm. Beyond his love for sports, he was a loyal fan of his late dogs, Trooper, Sadie, Goliath, and Kilo, and he was also an avid Trump supporter. Larry’s love extended to his family, where he took immense pride in his children and their accomplishments, embodying the role of an excellent father.
Larry will be remembered for his charismatic nature, his love for music, his passion for art, and his unwavering support for his family. His memory will forever be treasured by his community and all those whose lives he touched.
He is survived by his beloved wife Sarah Fallen; his children Devon and Aubriana Fallen; and his siblings Keith Patrick and Patricia (Matthew) Barnett.
He was preceded in death by his parents Willard and Bonnie and his brother Ellis Patrick.
A celebration of Larry’s life will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 5 pm to 8 pm at East Park Cabin, 1200 E. Walnut St., Galion.
