Statement From the City Of Bucyrus Administration:
The City of Bucyrus is committed to maintaining smooth business and administration operations. As of August 23, 2024, Attorney Brandon Gobrecht has been appointed Interim Law Director. Please note that Mr. Gobrecht is serving in a temporary capacity and is not the new permanent Law Director. His role will remain in place only until definitive decisions can be made based on forthcoming information.
Statement by Brandon Gobrecht:
I’m honored that the City of Bucyrus has asked me to step in and fill the gap in the Law Director’s office. Having grown up in Bucyrus, I’ve always believed in the value of lending a hand whenever possible. I think we all agree that our priority should be to address the immediate needs while understanding that the future will soon become our present, and we’ll tackle it when the time comes. My focus is to get up to speed as quickly as possible and move forward from there. I’m genuinely looking forward to the experience.
