The three-day bargain hunting season, better known as the Lincoln Buy-Way Sales, begins today and continues on through Saturday.
Yard and garage sales as well as flea markets will dot the landscape along the site of the Lincoln Highway – both current and old routes. That means Crawford County is a prime bargain hunting ground.
In Ohio, from east to west, the sales will be scattered from East Liverpool all the way to the Indiana-Ohio state line. Locally, the communities of Upper Sandusky, Nevada, Oceola, Bucyrus, Leesville, Galion and Crestline will all be actively involved in the sales.
When traveling the old Lincoln Highway routes that are two-lane motorists need to be mindful of slowed and parked traffic along the roadway.
