A 76-year-old Crestline woman was killed early Monday evening as a result of a two-car crash on Ohio 61 in Morrow County. Betty Christner was declared deceased at the scene.

According to the Mount Gilead Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Christner was traveling south near mile post 6 when her vehicle was struck head-on by a northbound vehicle that had crossed the center line driven by 19-year-old Nicholas Fisher of Cardington.

Fisher was taken to Grant Medical Center with what were described as non-life threatening injuries.
