Crestline native Matthew Laferty will present “Mission to Moscow” at the Crestline Public Library on August 11 at 6:30 p.m.

Laferty, an ordained Methodist pastor, served as the executive director of MPC Social Services, a Moscow-based outreach center with programs tackling hunger, poverty, and immigrant concerns, and concurrently as the Protestant chaplain to the American community in Moscow, Russia, until June 2015.

During his presentation Laferty will share about his ministry, highlight his work with immigrants in Moscow, describe challenges within the Russian context, and talk about life as an American living in the Russian capital.
