The Crawford Theatre Company will present the musical comedy Monty Python’s Spamalot at 7:30 p.m. on August 7, 8 and at 2:30 p.m. on August 9. Performances will be held in the Wynford High School auditorium, 3288 Holmes Center Road.

Monty Python’s Spamalot retells the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table with show girls and tap dancing, not to mention cows, killer rabbits, and French people. The 2005 Broadway production won three Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and received 14 Tony Award nominations.

The cast includes Scott Smith as King Arthur, Betsy Gerhart as Lady of the Lake, Levi Vermillion as Patsy, Chris Laughbaum as Sir Robin, Jason Kempf as Sir Galahad, Dylan Harper as Sir Lancelot, Jim Kitzler as Sir Bedevere, Matt Feck as Prince Herbert/Historian/Minstrel/Not Dead Fred, Larry Smith as The French Taunter/Tim the Enchanter, Jim Messenger as The Knight of Ni/Mayor, and Andy Wilson as The Black Knight/Concorde. The ensemble includes Hannah Shipman, Kate Seville, Bailey Dixon, Abbie Brocwell, Savanah Peoples, Jaimie Fruth, Garrett Broters, Levi Faulkner, and Jacob Meeks.

Monty Python’s Spamalot is directed by Betsy Gerhart with choreography by Matt Feck.
