The Crawford Park District will once again host its popular Animal Extravaganza.
The event is scheduled for noon to 3 the afternoon of July 11 at Lowe-Volk Park.
This year’s event will allow visitors to experience snakes, turtles, salamanders, and more. Various pet owners will be on hand to answer questions and to allow people to “hold and touch” when appropriate. Animals will be on display so that visitors can get “up close and personal.”
At 1 o’clock that afternoon magician and ventriloquist Rick Fisher will present the program “Nature is Magical.”
