BORN is in dire need of volunteers. For safety of our volunteers, the group cannot operate with less than three volunteers present in the office. The office has and will be closing due to lack of volunteers. This ministry survives on volunteers, who are willing to serve the community.
Volunteer positions available include a front desk greeter, office assistant, and interviewer. The front desk greeter would greet people as they enter, prepare files and copy information for new clients, pull files for follow-up clients, and schedule appointments. An office assistant would make copies, run errands, make phone calls, and write thank you notes. An interviewer would collect information from a client, listen to their needs, work to solve utility needs, and make referrals to meet other needs.
Other volunteer opportunities include assisting with fundraising events, providing mentor services, and providing transportation.
