The Humane Society Serving Crawford County is holding its annual Paws Walk on June 27 at the Humane Society, 3950 St. Rt. 98 in Bucyrus, Ohio.
This year’s event will feature a 5k race with registration of $20 beginning at 8 a.m. and a run at 8:30 a.m. There will be 12, 24, and 40-mile bike rides with registration fee of $25. Registration for the bike ride begins at 7:30 a.m. and the ride starts at 8 a.m.
The Paws Walk will start at 10 a.m. and gives you the opportunity to ask friends, family, and co-workers for sponsorships to walk your dog around the Outhwaite Reservoir. Special prizes will be going to the pet pair that raises the most in sponsorships and the best poker hand.
There will be a $10 rabies and $15 micro-chip clinic from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lunch of bratwurst or hot dogs will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Area canine units have been asked to come for a meet and greet as well as rescues.
Your support of this event will go to the Humane Society Serving Crawford County and allow them to continue the work they do in finding forever homes for the abused, abandoned, and neglected pets in the community.
