BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—On Wednesday, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an injury crash on SR 602 at US 30 in Whetstone Twp. Sheriff Deputies, Volunteer Firefighters from Whetstone and Jefferson Townships, and Life First responded to the scene.
Deputies discovered that Larry Stoney, 70, from Galion, Ohio, was traveling southbound on SR 602 on his black 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he collided with an unknown vehicle near the westbound ramp to US 30. The unidentified vehicle fled the scene before the Deputies arrived.
Stoney was airlifted to a Columbus Hospital by Med Flight with serious injuries. The Sheriff’s Office is conducting an ongoing investigation into the crash and is asking for the public’s help.
