MORRAL — Ridgedale jumped out to an early 10-0 lead and defeated Patriot Prep 47-31 here in a girls Division IV sectional semifinal game Wednesday night.
The win advances the Rockets to play at Danville, a 53-21 winner over Pataskala Liberty Christian, on Saturday in the sectional finals.
Maddie McKenzie led the way with 11 points and 4 steals. Lauren Leslie added 8 points and 6 rebounds and Lilly Ruth 7 points and 3 steals.
Faith Thomas scored 17 points and added 5 rebounds, three steals and had 5 blocked shots for the Lady Eagles.
