CRESTLINE, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Crawford County Farm Bureau is inviting the community to join them for the Farmers Share Breakfast on Saturday, February 24. The event, which aims to foster a connection between consumers and the origins of their food, will be held at the Hannah Crawford Elementary Cafeteria from 8 to 10 a.m.
Attendees can enjoy a breakfast spread of made-to-order omelets, cinnamon rolls, sausage, coffee, orange juice, and milk. The meal is available for a free-will donation, and all are welcome to join for great food and fellowship.
Steve Reinhard, the breakfast chair of the Crawford County Farm Bureau, emphasized the importance of understanding where our food comes from. “Farmers remain committed to producing safe, healthy food for consumers,” said Reinhard. “We share with consumers many of the same concerns about putting nutritious meals on the table on a tight budget. By inviting consumers to our Farmers Share Breakfast, we hope to provide a better understanding of the origins of the food on their plates.”
The Crawford County Farm Bureau encourages the community to follow them on Facebook and bookmark their webpage, Crawford.ofbf.org, for details on events and programs throughout the year.
