BUCYRUS — Bucyrus boys and girls swept Wynford in Northern Ohio Bowling League action at Suburban Lanes on Thursday.
Redmen boys remained undefeated on the season at 8-0 with a 2318-2247 victory. Tyson McDaniel led the way for Bucyrus with a 378 series, including a high game of 210. Seth Price added a 196 game with his 355 series.
Aiden Mason had the high series for the Royals (3-2) with a 360 series. Briar Ridge was next with a 349 series and a team-high 203 single game. Bucyrus won the three Baker games, 614-550.
The Bucyrus girls moved to 6-2 on the year with a 1758-1696 decision over the Lady Royals. Ellie Spitler topped the Lady Red with a 335 series, with games of 167 and 168. Rylee Powers was second with a 289 series.
Heather Wappelhorst led Wynford (1-4) with a 319 series and a 192 single game. Allison Sebring added a 312 series with games of 154 and 158. The Royals won the three Baker games 425-401.
Bucyrus returns to action Thursday, hosting Seneca East. Wynford travels to Liberty-Benton today.
