The Crestline Board of Education will meet for a special board meeting on Monday, August 5. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Crestline High School library.
The board is expected to award one-year limited teaching contracts for the 2013-2014 school year for various positions, including Lee Hurst as the Athletic Director.
Also on the agenda for the night will be a contract with Avita Health System for athletic trainer services for the upcoming school year at a total cost of $4,152. An agreement with the Galion City Health Department is expected to be approved for school nursing services to Crestline St. Joseph School at a rate of $35 per hour. A resolution to approve home school and non-public student participation in Crestline athletics is also on the agenda to be approved. This resolution, which also requires the students to be residents of the Crestline Exempted Village School District, will become State law on September 29, 2013.
The board will adjourn into executive session for the purpose of discussing the employment of personnel.
